    What’s the weather like in Bansko in September?

    The Bansko weather in September makes the most of the last of the warm summer temperatures. Lots of visitors still come to this part of Bulgaria at this time because it’s quieter compared to peak summer but the sun still warms this mountainous region very nicely.

    Bansko is found in the foothills of Bulgaria’s Pirin Mountains, in the pretty south west of the country close to Greece and Macedonia. Warm air from the Aegean and Ionian Sea help to keep temperatures quite pleasant around the town in September. Higher ground above the town will definitely feel cooler and have more rain.
