What’s the weather like in China in October?

Northern and eastern regions including the capital Beijing are cool and mainly dry this month, while central regions are usually warm and slightly wetter in October.

Meanwhile Shanghai is warmer with highs of 22°C, lows of 15°C, and around 65mm of rain. In Guilin temperatures are higher, peaking at an average high of 27°C and dropping to 17°C after dark. It’s also slightly wetter, with 85mm of rain expected.
