Las Vegas weather in April is mostly mild and sunny, which is perfect if you want to avoid the higher temperatures of the summer months, which can be quite overwhelming for some people.
Geographical influences
Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert, Nevada. As expected, the city tends to remain very dry throughout the year with low humidity and not much chance of rain. April is a lovely time book holidays to Las Vegas since the weather is pleasant without the heat being too much.

The city of lights sees an average daily temperature of 27°C in April, with evening lows of around 13°C. This is typical of the desert region, which often witnesses high temperatures during the daytime and chilly temperatures at night. Thankfully, you’ll be curled up in bed by this stage and when you wake again in the morning, the beautiful sun will have returned. You’ll get to enjoy 13 hours of lovely sunshine each day, giving you plenty of time to hit the casino and see the city with your travel companions. The average humidity is very low at just 24%, which is mostly due to the fact that Las Vegas only experiences 4mm of rainfall throughout the entire month. This means it’ll be very unlikely you’ll see any sign of rain during your stay, so you can leave the raincoat at home.
