What's the weather like in Fuengirola in May?
Located on the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain, Fuengirola is a popular beach resort with a Mediterranean climate bringing hot summers and cool winters to the region. In May Fuengirola is sunny and warm. While temperatures are lower than the height of summer, this is a great month to visit if you prefer cooler weather or are visiting with young children. For the warmest weather visit at the end of May, when temperatures are usually a couple of degrees higher than at the start of the month.

In May the average temperature in Fuengirola is a mild 18°C. In the afternoon temperatures increase to a warmer 23°C, which is pleasant enough for relaxing on the beach or sightseeing inland. At night temperatures drop to around 13°C, so warmer layers are needed for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants.
