What's the weather like in Kavos in June?
Located on the south coast of Corfu, Kavos has a Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and mild, slightly wet winters. If you’re planning a beach holiday for June, Kavos is the perfect destination for relaxing in the sand, with plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and only a small amount of rain. Although the resort’s getting busier at this time of year, it’s not quite as crowded as the high season months of July and August.Averages
In June, Kavos has a daily average temperature of 20oC, rising to 28oC in the peak of the day. At night temperatures drop to around 12oC, providing a welcome break from the day’s heat, although it’s worth bringing warmer layers for nights out. For days at the beach, the Mediterranean waters are a warm 23oC at this time of year, perfect for swimming, snorkelling, or trying out a new water sport. As for wet weather, just 25mm of rain’s expected this month.
