    Laganas weather September

What's the weather like in Laganas in September?

Laganas is a popular beach resort on the southeast coast of Zante, and has a Mediterranean climate bringing long, hot summers and mild winters to the pretty bay. Conditions start to cool down in September, but it’s still a very warm month in Laganas, so you can look forward to lots of great beach weather if you visit this month.

In September the average temperature in Laganas is 21ºC, with highs of 26ºC in the peak of the afternoon. It’s not overly hot, but you’ll still need to pack plenty of sun cream, especially if you have young children. After the sun sets, the average low dips to 16ºC, so you’ll need some warmer layers for evenings out. Around 65mm of rain’s expected over the course of seven days, but there are still nine hours of sunshine each day in September. If you want to go for a swim, the Ionian Sea’s a warm 25ºC this month.
