“Room full of cockroaches”

I arrived quite late and went for check in. Usually 5 stars have quite few staff helping you with the luggages, not here. Staff is cold, detached and bothered. We checked in and got our room in a very dated old and smelly hotel. I said to myself lets give them a chance as sometimes appearance is deceiving. We got in our room and again no help from the staff and not what i describe a 5 stars hotel(maybe a 3/4 stars). We started to unpack and we started to see cockroaches coming out from the walls and behind the TV. We called reception and a guy with a spray came to kill them. No new room offered. Just a staff member with a spray. How could we stay in a place just being sprayed, knowing they would come out at the night while we are asleep which quite a health hazard. We left the hotel as I believe food /breakfast can be subjected to same lack of hygiene and care. I dont even know how they are still open. We left the hotel. Checkout. No Apologies. WOW. Please guys be aware of the hygiene in this hotel and report it. Hope this will help someone.

“Dreadful hotel”

Poor location , no restaurants nearby and surrounded by building work. Arrived after an international flight at 9.30pm and no restaurants open to eat, not even a lobby snack bar. One bar open until 11pm serving nuts. We ordered an uber eats and had to sit outside on a wall. The pool has a charge to use! We wanted to use it for one hour and it was 24,000 yen (£120)! The standard of the hotel is certainly not 5 star, the rooms and corridors are run down, the bathrooms don’t have a shower, just a bath with a shower curtain. The room facilities are lacking - the hairdeyer barely works, there are no dressing gowns, I could go on. I would highly recommend you stay elsewhere.

“Let it get closed immediately as planned !”

Away from the Location that is congested , due to construction sites the next years this Hotel ( max 2Star Level ) should close , as originally planned for mid 2026. Every Interior in my standard room (6th floor) was worn and years without maintenance. The bar is a joke in terms of pricing, quality of drinks and behavior of the bar personnel . Pool was closed, the Garden was closed. They do have a real problem with cleaning. Have never seen in Japan that level of dirty carpets and bathroom in a history of 25+ years of travel to and in Japan. Breakfast is nothing to talk about , not for variety and as especially not for quality. The only light of excellence was the service at The Tullys Coffee Shop. The rest of the Hotel Service Mindset is ridiculous and stands out as a worst case scenario for Japan Hospitality. Have never stayed in a Hotel like this one in 25 years of Travel to Japan. They have actually extended the operation of the Hotel until approximately 2028 before it gets demolished. They should stop operation with immediate effect.

“Choose another hotel”

Booked for 5 people and 2 rooms. Kids can only eat with parents if you pay extra 40 AUD… how ridiculous. All pools were closed in late July and not open in 35 degree heat and high humidity… just crazy..Rooms are dated, scratches on walls everywhere.

“Disappointing”

Worn-out hotel, not 5-star. Dated rooms. Pool costs extra, and one pool wasn't even open. Very disappointing.
