Cala Bassa Beach in Ibiza
A great way to spend the day under the warm Ibiza sun is on the popular Cala Bassa Beach on the island's west coast. It's easily one of the most beautiful beaches in the area and you can make your visit here as action packed or relaxing as you like. There are plenty of excellent facilities at the beach, meaning you can easily spend a whole day here.
You've got everything from sun loungers and parasols to massage services and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. What makes it even better is that everything is connected by wooden walkways, making comfortable access for both wheelchair users and families with pushchairs.
The soft, golden sand and calm, shallow waters are ideal for kids who want to take a paddle. But if you're wanting something a little more adventurous, you can go snorkelling or try the pedaloes, banana boats or jet skis that are available to hire.
Cala Bassa is only a short, 15 minute drive from San Antonio. However, if you want to make the journey a little more fun, you can take the scenic route and hop on board the passenger ferry from San Antonio too.
