Reviews
“A basic, no-frills short stay if you do Tokyo!”
As a UK resident, we booked this via their website which has English and booked a two-night package. Unfortunately due to a flight delay we ended up staying for one night but cannot obtain a refund for the single-night no-show. You can get here from Tokyo Station using the frequent JR Keihin-Tohoku Line in less than 20 minutes. But this has not disappoint my experience - the hotel clerk was friendly and speaks English, the rooms are very clean and small for a twin - be aware that all Japanese-chained hotels have very small Onsen-shower bathrooms, not good if you are over five foot six! Tea-making facilities all included and the reception area has some free tea/coffee/soup sachets as well as free toiletries. We chose this area, in Ota area near Haneda International Airport because there are good cosy eateries from ramen to sushi, bars as well as convenient shops away from the busy dense Tokyo epicenter, ideal if you prefer the non-Instagram locations as this area still has that local town feel! We will definitely return here soon - Arigato Red Room Kamata!

“Great stay — clean hotel, friendly staff, perfect location””
I stayed at the Red Roof Inn for 8 days and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were amazing — friendly and always helpful. The location was also very convenient, close to shops and everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

“Great Location, Close to Haneda Airport”
Very close to Haneda airport but far from Narita. The rooms are on the smaller side of standard Japanese hotels, but the beds are surprisingly clean and comfortable. Reception staff is welcoming and helpful, and housekeeping is very detailed with daily room service. Do note that the bathroom and the bathing areas are the tiniest spaces I have ever seen. If you are over 5'10", you are guaranteed to kneel/crouch while showering.

“Great value and close to subway”
The room is small (as are most in Japan) but very comfortable, clean and modern. Small window and no balcony. Shower and bathroom is spacious. We stayed a couple of nights and it is perfectly fine. Simple breakfast is provided. 8 min walking to the Kamata subway station. There is a covered market called Sunrise Market a few minutes walk. There are few restaurants nearby. Great value and away from main downtown Tokyo and yet only 35 min by subway from Shibuya Crossing or Tokyo Station. There is also a Japan Railways East office at the Kamata subway Station to buy bullet train tickets. The subway station has many stores and a fantastic bakery.
