“Enjoyable Stay - Great Location.”

One of the five hotels we stayed at during our 12-day trip to Japan last year (yeah took so long to write one). We booked two rooms for 2 nights from 14–16 February 2025 at Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo. The location was excellent — right near Ginza and within easy reach of Tsukiji Outer Market, making it very convenient for exploring Tokyo. The service was superb, with attentive and friendly staff throughout our stay. We also arrived around Valentine’s Day and were pleasantly surprised to receive chocolates from the hotel—such a thoughtful touch! ❤️ The rooms were a little small (well it's Tokyo!), but it wasn’t really an issue for us as we spent most of our time exploring Tokyo (Ginza and Odaiba specifically). Overall, a very enjoyable stay and definitely a hotel I would consider staying at again.

“Hate this property”

Hated this property! Rooms are not well maintained (carpet was dirty and walls all scraped.) The bathroom had a distinctive musty smell. Rooms are TINY and the layout makes it hard to mske yourself feel comfortable. Our view was non,,-existent. .What a disappointing end to our otherwise great trip. Check-in was very, very slow even though we were the only ones checking in at the time. They were nice enough to hold our bags until after 3pm check in. Good location for shopping. We were charged $20 usd for 1hr late check up to

“Very good hotel, but poor breakfast experience”

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of our trip, and overall we had a good experience, except for the breakfast. Firstly, the breakfast area was relatively small considering the size of the hotel. But what was worse was that there were very few options for Western guests. To give just one example, there wasn’t even any cheese available (!!!). Most of the dishes were typically Asian, such as soups, meat dishes, fish, and other local specialties. For those who are not used to this kind of food in the morning, the breakfast experience was quite poor and disapointing. Apart from that, the room was good (Superior Room #1217). The bathroom was divided into three separate areas: the sink/vanity, the shower and bathtub area, and the toilet in its own compartment, which was very practical. Good shower and good toiletries. Two complimentary bottles of water per day. The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. Good location, right in the heart of Ginza.

“Clean, comfortable hotel”

I stayed at the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel for 5 day and 4 nights in a superior room with two large twin beds. If you're having trouble picturing two large twin beds, they are similar to a full size bed in my opinion (not to be confused with a queen). I was completely fine at 5'7, but my feet were at the bottom of bed. Someone taller than that might be uncomfortable. The bathroom had a great shower and separate tub. The toilet was in a separate room which I liked. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable with a few signs of wear and tear. The real gem here is the location in the heart of Ginza. After all the shopping, it was so easy to drops bags off at the hotel and head back out to explore more. The metro station is right next to the hotel which made it really easy to get around Tokyo.
