    The Playa de Las Americas weather in September is full of warm, sunny and dry days. You’ll find it’s a brilliant time to visit this pretty town on the Canary Island of Tenerife, because the peak summer crowds have disappeared and you can soak up the sun around the resorts superb sandy beaches.

    Tenerife is in the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the most westerly Canary Islands. Hot air can sometimes be blown west from the Sahara desert to the island.
