Typically Las Vegas with its lively style and bright lights, the Fremont Street Experience is a must-see on your holiday to the city. A covered pedestrian mall which stretches for five blocks, you're sure to have a fun time there whether you're going for a browse or an evening out.

Right off Las Vegas Boulevard South close to the city's downtown area, you'll see the mall's barrel vault roof rise up in front of you as you approach. A dizzying collection of shops, bars, restaurants and casinos, stop to watch the street performers and unique artists as you wander down the street.

The Fremont Street Experience is a throwback to the Las Vegas of years gone by, with something for everyone to enjoy. Away from the glamour of the Strip, you'll be surrounded by both locals and tourists as you pick out a new outfit in one of the shops or grab a snack from one of the food joint. Things get livelier in the evenings at the Fremont Street Experience, when the ceiling lights up with neon images to the beat of the music.

Have a few drinks and some dinner then watch a band play, before moving on to the slot machines in one of the casinos. If you're feeling daring, have a go on the SlotZilla zip line, which has two lines, the highest of which is 35 metres above the street.

After wandering through the Fremont Street Experience, head to the High Roller Las Vegas or Stratosphere Tower for incredible views back over the city. Or get away from the bright lights with a trip to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
