“Cold showers Hot coffee”

Just returned from our stay at Planet Hollywood. We’ve stayed there many times over the years and love the location. We paid for an upgraded room. The room was clean but certainly showed wear and tear. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The most disappointing part of our stay was the cold showers we experienced all 3 days of our stay. We were told to just let the water run until it warmed up, but that didn’t help. I kept thinking about local drought conditions, the low Lake Mead levels and wondered if all the rooms have the same issue and how much water is wasted awaiting a hot shower. The pleasant surprise was the in-room coffee and coffee maker. The website room description stated no such amenity was provided. I packed my own Kuering and pods and they weren’t needed. I sure could have used the luggage space for more clothes, but I’ll remember next time.

“Fun Fun Fun”

It’s all about the location, well PH didn’t disappoint the location especially with the miracle mile shops Staff however especially one bartender wasn’t at all friendly when o asked for a bottle of water for $5 Booze drinks are free when playing and I was playing and asked for water instead, and they wanted to charge me for a mini bottle of water. No thanks PH gift shop: they don’t put prices on snacks or drinks: stay away very high prices ABC stores inside the miracle mile shops are so much cheaper As much as we love Ramsey, won’t pay the ridiculous amount of money for a hamburger unless he actually cooked it himself. When you Use the shower the Floor around the tub will flood with water. We called down to maintenance for them to fix it and they never did come for the whole week while we were there. Plus, the sink will plug up as well when the shower is turned on. They do provide shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, which is very nice so you don’t have to bring your own We also find that the rooms are dark inside. We had an ultra hip room that faced the strip for an up charge of $12 Canadian /day as we had a pool area view room before. Catching a taxi is very easy coming out the lobby $26.25 is the standard fix rate going to the airport. We like the added safe that you can put your own code in and lock it When the housekeeping staff come, they don’t actually clean your room. They just make your bed put in extra towels and that’s it. When we got to a room, there was dust on the lights and hair in the tub which we never used for the whole week so it wasn’t really clean when we checked in. we called front desk and they pushed it over to maintenance, but they never did show up like I said. Housekeeping staff were very friendly over all other staff in hotel Resort fees are $313.50 plus an up charge if you want another room Not really complimentary as others have said and the front desk was given $40 from us 3. Cafe Hollywood had some amazing delicious foods ( we had a city pass voucher) so worth it The staff there was friendly and filled my water glass up without having me asking for it. Casino floors were cleaned but the smoke is overwhelming there and everywhere outside. Our room was 3105 ( south tower) Pop machine and ice on our floor, water bottle is $3 Get water at ABC stores, they had a sale on 2 for $4 ( 1 litre bottles) Flights was a great restaurant as well in the shops but expensive $88 for 2 of us with a flight of non alcoholic drinks and one with a flight of alcohol drinks. They also charge a service fee as well which I believe they shouldn’t, paid cash. Overall first time being at this resort, it was pretty good for the experience Been to Vegas 15 times ( last time being in 2005) when things were so much cheaper.

“Visit the Planet!”

We went for the Buffalo Bills vs Raiders game and went with another couple here but many others that stayed all over. It was a great location and atmosphere was electric. Our room overlooked part of the sphere and the room was big and clean rate was reasonable. The entire property is well configured and easy to find stores restaurants and entertainment.

“Glamour Has Left the Building”

Unfortunately, Planet Hollywood feels like it hasn’t kept up with the times. My room was dingy, dated, and strangely dark, with only two task lights. Worse, my toilet repeatedly backed up with soapy foam that overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Engineering told me there was nothing they could do and couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t happen again. Relocating meant braving the perpetually backed-up front desk, so I simply adjusted my bathroom habits accordingly. 🙃 Add constant upcharges for things like early/late checkout and additional Wi-Fi devices, and the whole experience felt less “Hollywood” and more “hotel overdue for a renovation.”
