“stomach upsetting”
Just behind the Train station Monte Estoril, facing the ocean, and main Cascais-Lisbon road, with vast rooms, nice view, slow breakfast service, nice staff but not up to a 5 star hotel. Could not enjoy the pools, well kept gardens, and meal rooms with a pet access forbidden , although pet friendly announced. Overcharged for the pet as 60./day while normal 15. euros as i sign a paper on an animal more then 5 kg, they kept charging my cc. So, for 3 days, i had a bill almost 2000. eu for being confined in a room, no idea what other rooms and hotel looks like. Clearly overpriced without justification. Asked for reimburse and bang against a deaft ear. There's a complicate system of cards and elevators quite confusing, a big modernism while surrounded by old building, with some structural architectural failures and no fire services. It was beautiful watch the Estoril bay and waves foam, early hours of october from the balcony. Thank you

“Loved every bit.”
Perfectly situated between the beaches. Cascais is a 2 min trainride or a 29 mins walk. Special mention to Antonio and Inés at the reception desk. Very friendly and accommodating. Let us early check in and made us feel very welcome. Our room was upgraded to the one facing the sea. We loved the room and the beds were very confortable. Daughter also managed to swim in their pool. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Would definitely stay when we revisit Lisbon/Cascais.

“Highly recommend”
Luxury is not about the price tag, it’s about how you are made to feel! At Intercontinental Cascais-Estoril the staff truly make you feel very special and look after you so well. We spent our wedding anniversary here, 4 nights and it was pure luxury. The service is exceptional, breakfast is breathtaking with views of the Atlantic and the Cascais bay. The rooms are superb and have everything. A real treat and we definitely will return.

“Nice Hotel Overlooking Water”
We enjoyed our time at the Intercontinental. We did two connecting rooms which worked well for our family. While the rooms were clean they smelled a bit like smoke when we checked in and it took a while for the smell to dissipate. The king room was as advertised “cozy” but the corner room with two beds was more spacious. We were on the same level as the pool so not much of a view from the balcony but we had booked a corner room The pool is nice but my son was disappointed when he wasn’t allowed to bring his ball in even when there was no one in the pool. The lunch by the pool was also disappointing. Breakfast is great with an amazing view of the water and good food. The staff was also very nice and turned on World Cup games for us in the middle of the night in the lobby. They would offer waters on our way out. The breakfast was gorgeous and phenomenal spread. The hotel is on the water but you need to walk a few minutes to the beach. The town of Cascais is probably close to a 20 minute walk to the part you want to spend time in. Ubers are very inexpensive though so it’s not a big deal. Assuming the smell of smoke was a one off the hotels nice and we would recommend it.

“Amazing Service”
Came for a short break at Intercontinental and had an amazing dinner with amazing service from Pedro. A very polite and hard working employee who gave us great recommendation. An asset to the company.
