In the Algarve region of southern Portugal, Aquashow Park Hotel is a family-friendly hotel in a quiet rural area near the coast. In the centre of Quarteira, which is 3km away, you can enjoy local Portuguese food or pick up some gifts and souvenirs in town's shopping centre. The beach at Quarteira is also 3km from the hotel, and has plenty of shaded spots to relax and catch a Mediterranean sunset. For a family day trip, you can visit Praia de Rocha Baixinha beach, which is 17km away. Here you'll find several beachfront bars to grab drinks and food, as well as plenty of sand to build castles with the kids.
There are two bars at Aquashow Park, one of which is in the pool area and serves drinks and snacks until the early hours. You can enjoy a selection of local and international food for breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant, where outdoor seating is also available.
For some competitive fun, you can take a short drive to the local tennis centre in Quarteira, or to the mini golf course that's within driving distance.
