What’s the weather like in Costa Blanca in February?
Located on the southeastern coast of Spain, the Costa Blanca has a Mediterranean climate bringing warm, dry summers and mild, damp winters to the region. In February the weather’s warming up slightly as spring approaches, although temperatures are still very cool in comparison with the hotter summer months. If you want to avoid the high season crowds and don’t mind cooler weather, February could be a good month to visit the Costa Blanca.
In February, the average daytime weather on the Costa Blanca is 12°C, with highs of a mild 17°C in the peak of the day. At night temperatures dip to just 6°C, so although the weather may be pleasant enough for t-shirts during the day, you’ll need to wrap up warm after dark. Just 25mm of rain is forecast this month, and with seven hours of sunshine expected each day February can be a lovely time of year for adventuring along the Costa Brava.
