Puerto Del Carmen
What’s the weather like in Puerto del Carmen in February?
Puerto del Carmen is a popular beach resort on the southeast coast of Lanzarote. As part of the Spanish Canary Islands, it has a subtropical climate with warm, dry weather all year round. Although February is one of the cooler months of the year, you can still expect lots of sunshine and high temperatures if you visit at this time. If you want to escape the chilly UK winter and avoid the intense summer heat and busy crowds, February is a great month to visit Puerto del Carmen.
In February, the average temperature in Puerto del Carmen is a lovely 18ºC, reaching highs of 21ºC in the hottest part of the afternoon. Although the weather’s suitable for relaxing on the beach during the day, you’ll need some light layers for evenings out in the resort, when temperatures dip to 14ºC. Despite being one of the wettest months of the year, there’s only 20mm of rain forecast in February, so wet weather isn’t a worry. Instead you can enjoy seven hours of daily sunshine and 18ºC Atlantic waters when you’re spending time at the beach.
