    Puerto Del Carmen weather April

What's the weather like in Puerto del Carmen in April?

Sitting on the south-east shores of Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen is a popular Canary Islands beach resort. The region has a subtropical climate which brings warm weather all year round. The weather doesn’t change too much between seasons in Puerto del Carmen, although spring is a bit warmer than winter and cooler than the sweltering summer. This is the perfect time to visit if you want to enjoy the resort’s beaches away from the busy crowds and high heat of summer.

In April, the average temperature in Puerto del Carmen is 19ºC, reaching a high of 23ºC in the peak of the afternoon. You can look forward to relaxing by the pool or on the beach during the day, but don’t forget to pack a light jumper for evenings out, as temperatures drop to 15ºC on average. Puerto del Carmen has around 5mm of rain in April, so there’s almost no chance of wet weather. Instead, you’ll have eight hours of sunshine each day to spend in the sands, with the Atlantic waters at 18ºC if you want to take a dip.
