The 5 star Club & Hotel Letoonia boasts a seafront location on the picturesque Gulf of Fethiye. Go for a swim in one of the three outdoor pools, or just relax on the terrace with a traditional Turkish coffee. There isn’t just one pool for the children - there’s three! And if that wasn’t enough there’s four fun waterslides the whole family can enjoy. The resort also boasts three private beaches, while a lift provides direct access to clifftop walking trails stretching for 3.7km.

For 4-7 year olds the Mini Club features a playground and activities from the animation team, while those in the 8-12 age group can join in arts, crafts and much more at the Maxi Club. The teenagers haven’t been forgotten about, as there’s competitions and games organised just for them. Meanwhile you can choose to take part in an energetic boxing class or to destress with a yoga session. To take your relaxation up to the next level, book a massage or other therapy at the spa. Here, all guests get complimentary access to the indoor pool, Turkish Bath, sauna, Jacuzzi® and steam room.

The main Lykia restaurant has a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including vegan and child-friendly options. But if you don’t fancy eating at conventional times Cactus offers 24/7 dining. Between 12:30pm and 3pm the Dolphin Snack Bar dishes up salads, burgers, pasta, soups, pancakes, desserts and fruit. If you have a sweet tooth, visit the patisserie for a tasty selection of churros, waffles, lokmas (doughnut balls) and pastries. In the evening you may choose to dine al fresco at Moonlight, while admiring the magnificent view of the Gulf of Fethiye. And if that wasn’t enough, each of the three private beaches has its own a la carte restaurant, giving you the option of choosing between Italian, Far Eastern and seafood (surcharge applies).

There’s numerous bars throughout the resort where you grab a cocktail, beer, frappe, ice slush, lemonade or glass of wine. You just have to decide whether you want to chill poolside, on the beach or in the lobby. After dinner, join the night’s entertainment programme that includes discos, live music, comedy acts and firework displays.

The air conditioned rooms feature a balcony, minibar, kettle, safe, bathrobes, slippers and satellite TV. If you have a large family or group then a villa will be perfect for you! These can accommodate up to six guests and include a lounge with a breakfast bar, as well as a double balcony.

Club & Hotel Letoonia is a 5km drive from the ancient ruins in Fethiye. These include a castle, theatre and rock tombs. A visit to the local museum can help you to understand bygone times. If you’re a shopaholic, head a couple of kilometres further east to the mall. Wildlife lovers should ask the front desk staff to organise a water taxi to Butterfly Valley, a nature reserve that’s home to hundreds of different species. Admirers of natural beauty should make the 50km drive to Saklikent National Park. Here, the gorge is 18km long, making it the largest canyon in Turkey and one of the biggest in the world.

2nd visit in 6 weeks! Just as amazing

We visited Club Letoonia in July as a family of 5, including two young adults (20 & 19 yr old) and 10 yrs old. Had such an amazing time, couldn’t wait until next year, so booked up for 6 weeks later in September (this time just with the 10yr old). We were nervous about returning so soon and that it wouldn’t live up to our last visit!!! But there was no need to at all…. We had a stunning room with a view between the centrum and dolphin restaurant, staff were welcoming and very hard working, grounds were as stunning as we remembered, food was lovely and plentiful and the entertainment team were just fantastic. Spopo, Angela. Eric, Atar, Chirro, Armie, Ramsay…they made our holiday very very special indeed!! Extremely hard working, friendly, kind and just lovely respectful people. No amount of compliments/reviews can sell this hotel, you have to go to experience the joy it brings. I know this sounds corny, but Letoonia is just simply a magical place. I have had been to many hotels/countries over my 25years of travelling as a couple and now as a family. I cannot believe we only stumbled across Letoonia this year and have been missing out all this time…..!! Letoonia is our happy place and most definitely captured our hearts!! It goes without saying we are returning next year….. Looking forward to it already….

A brilliant two weeks stay

This was our second stay at Letoonia and it was better than the first one. Food was fantastic (even though we stayed for 2 weeks this time it didnt get boring or samey). We initially had a room in block z which is right on the edge of the complex and to be honest, too far away. It takes a good 10-12 mins to get to the centre of the complex so avoid if you can. We managed to move to a room more central which made our stay. I just cant fault the place. Its just a brilliant resort and will probably be back sometime in the future.

1st time at Letoonia. The hotel and grounds are amazing We went October half term and the final week if the season. There was no signs of the hotel winding down and entertainment was still on every evening and all the bars and restaurants open. Cocktails were made from scratch and none of that syrupy cocktail rubbish. Wine as good and sparkling wine available at breakfast as well. We had a bungalow room with a small balcony. Room was nice and clean, towels changed daily. Food was great with plenty of choice Didnt try the a la carte because the menu was limited at these. Ferry boat to Fethiye was good value. We preferred the old town to the market on Tuesday. We did the 12 island boat trip and they pick you up from the hotel. As it was October we knew the pool would be cold but it was like swimming in a melted iceberg. Only thing that was a niggle was that the fridge was only stocked o arrival for 2 persons (2 coke, 2 squash, 2 small water) and there were 3 in our party. Then it wasnt restocked and there was no small shop selling cans bottles of coke or lemonade etc. Nor is there room service, so the evening I felt tired and just wanted to sit on the balcony and have a drink I couldn't. Other 5star AI hotels restock or have an order service. May the management could look at offering a drinks package service so that people can preorder and collect or have it delivered.
