Over at the Cantina, mix up the menu with speciality Turkish barbecues, freshly cooked temptations from the live-cooking stations and a tasty selection of veggie and vegan dishes. Whether you go B&B, Half Board or All Inclusive, make sure you try the freshly baked pide (the local pizza-like flatbread) hot out of the woodfired oven. Best paired with a stunner of a sunset!

Rooms and suites are stripped back and simple, all 118 of them. But that doesn’t make them any less homely. Decked out in cosy fabrics with splashes of colour here and there, this is a branded hotel designed to look anything but.

Each bedroom features a balcony, satellite TV, air-con/heating, safe and hairdryer, plus double or twin beds. You’ll even get a little kitchenette with a microwave and kettle, perfect for a post-club snack, plus the luxury of slippers for cosy toes. And with toiletries provided, you should have space in your case for that extra holiday read after all!

Don’t worry if you can’t cram everything in your luggage. Alanya city centre’s on your doorstep so you should be able to find what you need pretty easily. From clothes to souvenirs, there are all sorts of shops within 1km of Cook’s Club.

Must-dos for your out-and-about list include the medieval castle in the harbour (2.5km away). After taking in the view from the Red Tower, grab a bite to eat at one of the waterfront restaurants. This lovely spot’s also the place to jump aboard some of the area’s best boat trips - how does lunch on a pirate ship sound, or a seafaring adventure to the Green Canyon?

Not got your sea legs? There’s plenty around for landlubbers too! For starters, it’s well worth the hour’s drive to see the Greek and Roman ruins in the awesome resort of Side, and the Manavgat waterfalls nearby.

As for getting to Cook’s Club from Antalya Airport, expect a two-hour drive if you’re hiring a car or taking a private transfer. (Shared transfer times vary depending on the order of drop-offs.)
