Titanic Beach Lara

Titanic Beach Lara (ex Titanic Beach and Resort) is on the Antalya coast in southern Turkey, steps from the popular resort of Lara. The bustling city of Antalya is a short drive away. The hotel is built to look like a cruise liner and is surrounded by lawns and palm trees, with open sea views. The gardens stretch down to the sandy beach so you're a few steps from a swim in the Mediterranean Sea. There are three outdoor pools at Titanic Beach Lara (ex Titanic Beach and Resort), one of which is heated. Indoors, there's a separate kids' pool and an adults-only pool. If you'd like to work out during your stay, you can head to the hotel's gym. Alternatively, you can visit the spa if it's relaxation you're looking for. At the hotel you'll find ten bars, including two outdoor pool bars, a disco bar and a bowling bar that's open round the clock. The hotel has four restaurants where you can enjoy all of your meals. One offers a buffet and three serve a la carte menus. If you get hungry between meals, there's a snack bar, as well as pizza and burgers served during the afternoon. And when you fancy a sweet treat there's an on-site bakery. If you're after an adrenaline rush, you could take to the water on one of the hotel's jet skis. After dinner, staff host evening entertainment or you could take a walk down to the sand for a cocktail in one of the beach bars. If you'd like to have a day out, there are several golf courses in the area, as well as a shopping centre a short walk away.

Titanic Beach Lara is steps away from Lara beach and 500m from the centre of the resort. Lara beach is sandy with areas of shingle and has Blue Flag status. You can take a stroll along the beach to find bars and cafÈs serving drinks and snacks. Lara resort is popular for retail therapy, as there are lots of designer boutiques in the shopping centre, which is 3km from the hotel. For a day out, there's a golf course 16km away, close to the resort of Belek. There's also a lively water park 4km along the coast from the hotel. The resort city of Antalya is 16km away and has a yacht-filled harbour and a town beach. You can explore the winding streets of the old town and enjoy local Turkish dishes in the cafÈs and restaurants. Or spend an afternoon shopping in the bazaars where you'll find traditional products like leather and jewellery.

Titanic Beach Lara's buffet restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The three a la carte restaurants serve seafood, Italian and Turkish specialities for lunch and dinner. The hotel's bars open early in the morning and serve late into the night. You can enjoy a cocktail or head to the vitamin bar for something healthy.

Titanic Lara Beach runs a kids' club for children aged 4 to 12. The whole family can enjoy a day out at the theme park in Antalya.

We stayed there for 10 days end of April - beginning of May with family (2 kids: toddler and baby). Food is extremely delicious and we ate most of lunches at beach restaurant instead the hotel one . Hotel serves international branded drinks and not just fake cola, rum, whiskey etc. like you can find in some other hotels. Staff is extremely helpful pleasant and quick in terms of serving food drinks etc. so big + for this. only one minus - is that hotel officially goes to "summer season" from 1st April - so all pools were quite cold and chilly - especially the kids one with slides - which was the most cold among all. There were signs of the temperature of the pools between 22-24 C but i doubt for some of them. However if you are brave enough or to chill down after the sun it is ok. Kids zone - amazing. covered with shades entire day next to the pool with climbing walls slides.... A lot of activities for children throughout the the entire day including mini disco at 20.30 and shows at 21.00 o'clock at amphitheatre within the hotel area next to the zone. Extremely positive staff that entertain kids so all over experience was great. We stayed in 2019 in Feme Residence in the same region - i will say Titanic is much much better.

MIXED FEELINGS

Stayed here recently for a week. Nice hotel at the beginning for of resort. Good size room with 2 very comfortable double beds. Mini bar topped up daily with beer, coke, Fanta etc. Staff throughout hotel are lovely. Bars have great selection of drinks with premium brand spirits. Although not on display you can also ask for premium bottled beers like Budvar, Heineken etc. There is also a good selection of cocktails though I have to say they do not taste great. I think management should train staff how to make cocktails. Food. I have stayed at 8 hotels in this area in recent years and have to say that the food here is by far the worst. Breakfast is awful for British guests. Fried eggs practically raw cooked on one side or hard if cooked both sides. No bacon as Muslim country. Sausage practically neon red. No tomatoes beans etc. Lunch and dinner same every day. Limited choice of British food. I have never stayed in a hotel in any country with such a limited choice of food. Luckily for lunch there is a restaurant near beach serving roast chicken, burgers, kebabs, pasta etc. On plus side normally late night snacks in hotels is the days leftovers but in this hotel they have burgers pasta etc served till 3.00 am. Entertainment. First few days was just a DJ. Was actually enjoyable as played Turkish dance music and there was a great atmosphere. The next 4 nights there was dance show 3 nights and a band the other. Dance shows are dated and boring. Band was awful. I appreciate with so many different nationalities it is difficult to please everyone but outdated dance shows is not the answer. We hired a hamann one day which was ok. You are paying for the experience rather than what you get. There is a fridge full of drinks but you can get that at bar anyway.Same with the food. It comes from snack bar. The free champagne is awful. It is up to you if you think it is worth €70-90 but we enjoyed the experience. Please remember although you are all inclusive, staff depend on tips. A good tip at the beginning of the night, apart from being appreciated will ensure that you are given even better service throughout the night. I have only rated this a 3 due to the poor food otherwise I would have rated 5. Finally a tip for anyone travelling with Jet 2. The transfer service at airport is a shambles. Best arranging a private transfer. Just google Antalya airport transfers. Worth the extra money.
