What's the weather like in Costa Brava in February?
Located on the coast of Spain to the north of Barcelona, the Costa Brava has a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and short, cool winters. February is one of the coldest months in the region. If you visit at this time of year make sure you pack plenty of warm layers, especially for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants. Although you won’t get the weather for relaxing on the beach, this is a good month for sightseeing.Averages
In February, temperatures on the Costa Brava hover around 9°C during the day, with highs of 15°C and lows of a chilly 2°C after dark. To stay warm at night you’ll need a jacket, while the days are sometimes mild enough for a t-shirt. This month the Costa Brava expects around 40mm of rain, with around seven wet days in February, so although showers are uncommon it’s worth packing a waterproof coat in case of rain.
