What’s the weather like in Puerto Rico in February?
Puerto Rico is on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria. As part of the sun-drenched Canary Islands, the resort has a subtropical climate with warm weather all year round. Even though it’s still technically winter in February, you’ll have plenty of high temperatures and sunshine if you visit Puerto Rico at this time. The weather’s warm enough to relax on the beach or by the pool, making this a great destination for a dose of winter sun.
In February, the average temperature in Puerto Rico is a lovely 17ºC, reaching highs of 20ºC in the peak of the afternoon. Although it’s t-shirt weather during the day, you’ll need a light jumper or cardigan for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants, with temperatures dropping to 14ºC. February is one of the wettest months of the year, but there’s still hardily any rain in Puerto Rico at this time, with just 20mm forecast for the month. If you want to take a dip in the sea, the Atlantic waters are a refreshing 19ºC in February, just a few degrees cooler than over summer.
