Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Puerto Rico in August?
Puerto Rico is a popular beach resort on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria. It has a subtropical climate bringing warm, sunny weather to the region all year round. Although the Canary Islands are nicknamed the ‘Islands of Eternal Spring’, it definitely feels like summer in August, since the days are long, dry and sunny. Temperatures are still comfortable, though, so Puerto Rico’s a great place to go on holiday if you don’t like intense heat or have young children to think of.Averages
In August, the average temperature in Puerto Rico is 24ºC, reaching highs of 26ºC in the peak of the day. It’s the hottest month of the year for the resort, so you’ll want to bring lots of high factor sun cream and take care in the sunshine if you visit at this time. After the sun goes down, temperatures are still nice and warm, with an average low of 21ºC. Sunset’s not until nearly 9pm at the start of the month, perfect for an al fresco dinner or some cocktails with a view out to sea. If you want to take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean, the water’s a lovely 23ºC this month.
