What’s the weather like in Sardinia in March?
In March, the Italian island of Sardinia starts to come to life as temperatures slowly warm up after the winter months. Things are still quite mild, but while it’s not quite beach weather it’s a great time of year to explore the cultural sights inland. Although you may experience a few rain showers, there’s still lots of golden sunshine in March.
Sardinia is still quite mild in March, with average daytime temperatures of 12°C. With highs of 16°C and lows of 7°C at night, you’ll need to pack plenty of layers to stay warm in the colder evenings. The sea is still a brisk 14°C, so you’ll have to be very brave if you want to take a dip. With 14 wet days you’ll need to prepare for showers, but rainfall averages at just 23mm over the course of the month, so showers are usually short-lived. You’ll have around six hours of sunshine each day in March, so you’ll still see plenty of clear skies.
