    Goa weather May

What's the weather like in Goa in May?

With hot weather and sunshine all year round, Goa is a popular place for relaxing beach holidays. In May the heat is very intense, so you’ll need to be careful in the sun by seeking shade, staying hydrated and applying sun ream regularly. As the monsoon season begins in June, May is slightly wetter than previous months, but the rain won’t ruin your holiday.

In May, the average temperature in Goa is 30°C, with highs of 33°C in the peak of the afternoon. At night the temperature reaches lows of 27°C , so you’ll be grateful for air conditioning in your hotel. With around 110mm of rain expected during the month, any showers are usually short and sharp, with just four wet days forecast in total. There’s  an average of 12 hours of sunshine each day, while the Arabian Sea is a balmy 30°C, perfect for taking a dip.
