    Goa weather December

What's the weather like in Goa in December?

Goa’s on the west coast of southern India and has a stunning Arabian Sea coastline. With the equator just to the north, Goa has tropical weather with high temperatures all year round as well as distinct wet and dry seasons. December is in the dry season between October and May, making it a great time to visit as you can avoid the rain that falls in the wetter season. Breezes will keep you cool on the coast, with inland areas seeing much hotter temperatures.

The average high in Goa is 33ºC in December, so it’s perfect for a winter break. Temperatures only drop to 21ºC at night so you don't need to bring many warm clothes. The sea temperature’s 28ºC, which is fantastic for swimming, while humidity’s high. There’s 14mm of rain over a single day, and you can expect 11 hours of daylight with ten hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be very high so make sure you pack plenty of sun cream. The sun goes down just after 6pm
