What's the weather like in Goa in October?
Located on the southwest coast of India along the Arabian Sea, Goa has a tropical monsoon climate with a rainy season from the middle of June right through to October. As the last month of the wet season, October is hot, humid and rainy at this time of year. Although rain is expected, don’t be put off by the wet weather, as showers are usually very short-lived. With intense heat and high humidity, you’ll need to bring plenty of high factor sun cream and stay hydrated during the day.Averages
In October, Goa experiences average daytime temperatures of around 28°C. With highs of 32°C in the peak of the day, the heat gets stronger as the month goes on. At night temperatures dip to around 25°C, so although it’s cooler after dark you’ll certainly be grateful for air conditioning. As the tail end of the wet season, October expects around 125mm of rain over the month. But with just six wet days on average and the likelihood of showers falling as the month goes on, the wet weather won’t ruin your holiday.
