    What’s the weather like in Dalmation Coast in October?

    Temperatures cool from the hot summer months, but the Dalmation Coast weather in October is still very mild with lots of sunshine. Temperatures can reach 20°C on warm days in the south of the region, but you can expect some light showers.

    Geographical influences

    The Dalmation Coast’s a 500km-long stretch of beautiful shores in the west of Croatia. It runs from Rovinj in the north to Brac Island and Dubrovnik in the south. The south’s generally warmer and autumn sees the start of the wet season with rain across an average of 12 to 14 days.


    The warm weather in Dalmation Coast in October is thanks to its location along the Adriatic Sea. The water temperature this month averages 20°C, which helps to keep conditions inland very mild as well. The average will reach 19°C in October and often a few degrees warmer in the south. At night it can drop to between 10°C to 12°C and you’ll need a jacket. The sun shines for around six hours each day in the west of Croatia and it doesn’t set until 6.30pm.
