You might be surprised at how close everything is at Universal Orlando Resort, so getting around is a breeze.
• Most hotels are within a 10-15 minute walk of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk.
• Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal's Aventura Hotel and Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort are within a 5 minute walk of Volcano Bay.
• Most hotels are connected to Universal CityWalk by relaxing water taxis.
• Frequent bus transportation connects all hotels and all three parks, plus Universal CityWalk.
Universal Orlando is famous for its epic seasonal events, and if you’re visiting outside of the traditional summer period, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to experience one of them.
One of our must-do’s in the autumn is Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights™, which usually starts around mid-September and lasts until early November. Billed as the world’s premier halloween event, you can expect terrifying haunted houses inspired by the biggest names in horror, sinister scare zones and outrageously twisted entertainment.
From mid-November through early January, enjoy Universal’s unique take on Christmas celebrations throughout the Resort. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ is transformed with festive decor and unique entertainment. Seuss Landing™ at Islands of Adventure is fully decked for Grinchmas™. And the streets of Universal Studios Florida come alive during Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s.

Orlando weather is hot and humid during the summer. At this time, try to avoid the theme parks in the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest. Winters are mild, but remember to bring a light jacket if you’re planning to venture out in the evenings.
