This resort lies at the heart of the Sunshine State, and the weather is glorious (if a little humid during the high summer months). If you’re travelling in the summer, slap on the sun cream and don’t forget your hat as the Florida sun is very strong. Try to take a break during the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest. It’s worth remembering that hurricane season is from June to November, but full-blown storms aren’t so common.
