Sleep Quality

Great hotel, great service

Jun 2022 | ChrisH7081

Stayed for 1 week as a party of 12 golfers, couldn't fault the service, the food and the staff all friendly, probably returning next year as part of our golf society's Turkey Tour. Really good access to the beach, and they have a bar down there as well for your rest days, steak restaurant is a must! (Extra premium) T-bone was cooked amazingly well. Night time entertainment was good as well, different shows every night so not repeated for 2 weeks minimum Highly recommended

Mr. Yusuf Durgut, from restaurants, professional, very polite, hi manage and organise well. Thank you!

Mr. Yusuf Durgut, from restaurants, professional, very polite, he manages and organises very well. He makes efforts for all the guests. Thank you! We come back gladly every time, nice hotel, good services, clean, beautiful, kids are happy to take the boat or mini train, to play on the beach or at the pool.

Good hotel, but some serious drawbacks

I've been to Titanic Lara Beach twice and my family have visited this one before and said it was good so I was looking forward to a good holiday. When we arrived, our check in was speedy and we got our rooms allocated. The rooms are nice and spacious. One thing I will say, the rooms are all hard floors and there is no rug or carpet, maybe investing in a rug for the rooms would be nice. The bathroom is good too and shower is amazing, its a waterfall shower and it was good every day we were there. I will say about the bathrooms, I know this is a mass hotel but the towels could be better, the bath mats could be better and dressing gowns would be good too. There's clearly a lot of investment into this hotel and it seems crazy not to invest in things which will make the stay feel more luxurious like slightly thicker towels. The facilities in the place are really nice and the overall hotel is very expansive, it feels nice because it gives everyone alot of space and you can enjoy your holiday. The pool was great and the activities arranged as well were excellent. In terms of the food, the main restaurant was very impressive and I really liked the quality of the food in there. There was an italian place on the beach as well which was good but otherwise the other places on resort I would say were just average which was disappointing because the other parts were so good. There are also some pay to enter restaurants on the resort, I think that should be scrapped and everything should be included, I didn't find it so impressive that it was worth paying extra for whilst on my ALL INCLUSIVE holiday. I think the entertainment team are fantastic, the shows every night were brilliant and the activities available were brilliant too. The football pitches were kept in such good condition, the tennis courts could do with a re-do, I would suggest re-doing the clay or getting hard courts in and I would suggest getting the fenced area cleaned up so that its not a jungle when I go to find my tennis ball. Now, onto the cons: - On the very first day, we had taken some sunbeds that belonged to the apartment below us, we didn't know this and management was called. When management came, they told us we had to leave the pool area we were in as this was for the guests in that area. We had booked 5 rooms directly next to where we were staying which had stairs leading to pool access. The woman from management outright lied to us and when we challenged her on this, she backtracked and explained she said it wrong. Very very disappointed with this, it was a simple issue and it escalated far beyond where it should've. - The staff I would say 90% are brilliant but there are some staff (despite how pleasant we were) weren't up to scratch. We made friends with alot of the staff and got wonderful service for the most part but those few that let us down have tarnished the rest of the people, there should be a focus on making sure that doesn't happen. - The other stuff mentioned above, I just feel like they should spend money in the right areas, better towels, better facilities for guests, not another bar and 10 more rooms. The area of the pool under the rooms was very dirty and if you're not supposed to swim there, then block it off, otherwise it should be cleaned, its where the current/wave pool used to be so guests are used to swimming there but its a mess now. I feel bad writing some of these points but its frustrated me to no end that the one with the most opulence out of all the Titanic hotels I've stayed at came up short the most. Hopefully they fix the above for the future.
