Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
Live like a local and travel by bike on the flat, cycle-friendly paths through Amsterdam. Whether you hire a bike for an afternoon or the whole of your trip, you’ll quickly fall in love with the freedom that two wheels brings in this beautiful city.
With more bikes than residents, Amsterdam has one of the best cycle networks in the world. As you pedal alongside canals and through narrow streets, it’s easy to see why cycling is so popular with locals and tourists alike. To make the most of the wide cycle lanes, hire a bike from one of the city’s many bike shops and make your own way from sight to sight.
Alternatively, you can book onto a bicycle tour and travel in a group accompanied by a professional guide. While on your bike, look out for locals heading to and from work, students on their way to class, and even police on their two-wheeled patrol. With 400 kilometres of bike routes across the city, there’s plenty of choice when it comes to exploring.
Make the most of it as you cruise along with the wind in your hair, cycling between iconic sights including the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank’s house. Amsterdam can get quite busy with cyclists, especially during rush hour, so it’s worth brushing up on the rules of the pathways before you go. Remember to use the designated bike lane, avoid all pavements, and be careful as you ride over tram rails. And of course, don’t forget to wear your helmet!
