“Great hotel right in heart of Old Town”

So as per some previous reviews this is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kotor Old Town. Surrounded by great shops and amazing restaurants. It is very popular area and therefore lots of people milling around so can be noisy but in my opinion well worth it. Staff are absolutely amazing and so helpful.

“GREAT LOCATION”

We chose this hotel for its location within Kotor's Old Town; it truly enjoys a prime spot. When booking, we were told that the hotel provided someone to carry luggage from the parking area—we simply needed to call them. That is exactly what we did, only to be told we should have "reserved" this service a day in advance! We had never been informed of this, and we practically had to beg for someone to come help us. We checked in with a very kind young woman and went to our room. Another disappointment! We had booked an apartment with a city view but were given one facing a wall! See the photo I posted. The hotel failed to honor the booking agreement, and there were no other rooms available to move us to... Aside from these issues, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

“Watch out if you are allergic to some food”

The hotel is situated inside the old city with all that implicates. Even when you close the windows you feel like every tourist was invited in your bedroom. The church bell nearby strikes every hour. The 3 nights we ate at the hotel the food was toooo salty, the service was far from great and one of us who has severe allergies was served the same ingredients as the rest of the group !!!! Just one tiny lift for 3 floors. The breakfast was good though. Too expensive.

“Hotel Vardar, Kotor”

Had a fantastic 10 days in Kotor did various trips to see Montenegro. Hotel Vardar is in a fantastic location in the old town, excellent room with air conditioning. The hotel staff were very friendly, professional and extremely polite and we found this wherever we went in Montenegro. Would highly recommend Kotor and Hotel Vardar.
