The food, drinks, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff are great. Everything else just sort of lacks a bit unfortunately. It's remote - nothing useful is walkable or around it. Parking is confusing, there isn't enough onsite and can be awkward on a one lane road. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:15pm (2pm onwards check-in but we had not confirmed our check-in time so that ones on us) then we didn't get any info from the person checking us in. When I asked, an info sheet was delivered to the room but that info sheet had no detail about the restaurant so we had to go and ask about timings and what was available etc. The Deluxe 1 bed room was much smaller than it looks in the imagery but it was a good layout just a bit rundown and strange things like mismatching glasses, no tea towel, no bottled water, only two of everything when the room was booked for three of us, that sort of thing. The food was great but only served until 5pm and then after 8pm so tricky with a young family. The pool again, just needs a bit of maintenance, loose little tiles are everywhere, I saw a little boy count 17 of them! Then unfortunately dogs barked all night really loudly. I had such a bad sleep. The fold out sofa had a big dip in it too. The AC is only in the living room so you have to leave the bedroom door open to get it in the bedroom which was annoying because the curtains don't go all the way across! It's so close to being great but it just needs a little extra investment!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I genuinely cannot understand how this property has positive reviews. The photos and description are completely misleading. The level of cleanliness was shocking. The towels had stains, the pillows had stains, and the overall condition of the room made me uncomfortable the moment I walked in. It felt less like a hotel and more like a neglected hostel. I wanted to leave immediately upon arrival, but unfortunately there were no suitable alternatives nearby. I left the next morning at 7:00 AM and gladly forfeited the rest of my stay. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were friendly and professional. They were doing their best, but they cannot compensate for a property that is in such poor condition. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. If cleanliness is important to you, avoid this hotel. I would rate it 0 out of 10. I am honestly amazed that Expedia continues to promote this property as a VIP hotel.

Decent hotel/ apartment but too far from any activity centers. Spent lots of money on taxi. Basically you need taxi to go anywhere, which is not cheap. 15 min ride could take 45 min to a hour because of traffic.

The place is pretty and clean and has a great view and is reasonably-priced but for me, the ultimate stand out was the service. Vulkan is top tier as a host, bartender, all-around customer service angel. He deserves a raise! He went above and beyond, and always with a warm smile! Nahed is kind and gracious at the front desk and Chon (sp?) was very helpful to us when we checked in late night. I don’t remember the names of other staff but EVERYONE was so lovely and catered to our every need! Also, the breakfasts are delicious! Highly recommend!
