“Loved it !”

Fantastic Hotel – Highly Recommended Upon arrival at the hotel, we were immediately impressed. The building is beautiful, and the interior looks exactly as it does in the photographs online. We were greeted by the reception staff, who were incredibly polite and accommodating. In fact, all the staff throughout our stay were friendly and helpful. We were invited to sit down while our details were prepared, and the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, spacious and exactly as advertised. The views were stunning, with the beachfront on one side and the mountains behind us. The setting was fantastic, and I imagine it would be difficult to get a room with a poor view. Everything in the room worked brilliantly. The only small suggestion would be to bring an Amazon Fire Stick or similar if you want to stream programmes on the TV, as the available content was limited. However, the hotel Wi-Fi was excellent, unlike the unreliable Wi-Fi you often find in hotels, so we were able to watch things on our iPad in the evenings without any problems. Cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay. The housekeeping team were quick and efficient, often coming in to change the bedding and tidy the room while we were having breakfast. The complimentary supplies, including tea, coffee and water, were great, and the towels were spotless. The bedding was particularly comfortable, and we had a fantastic night’s sleep. We also made use of the hotel’s facilities, including the sauna, gym and massage service, all of which were excellent. The infinity pool upstairs was another highlight, with absolutely incredible views from the top. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to enjoy, and the staff serving guests in the bar area were excellent too. The standard of service throughout the hotel really made a difference to our experience. I would also like to give a special mention to a member of staff whose name I believe was Suzanne or Susie. We had lost a bag at the cable cars in Kotor and explained the situation to her. She went out of her way to contact them and obtain a telephone number so we could follow it up ourselves. The following day, we were able to retrieve our bag, and we were delighted to tell her when she returned to work on Monday. Her help was genuinely appreciated, and it was a great example of the level of service we received throughout our stay. Overall, this is a grand, beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, comfortable rooms, stunning views, delicious breakfast and genuinely lovely staff. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Budva, Montenegro. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay again!

“1 week bed & breakfast at Hotel Slavija”

I had a wonderful experience at Slavija iberostar hotel. The staff were excellent, service was great and breakfast was amazing. The icing on the cake was on my birthday I returned to my room to find a cake and bottle of champagne, fantastic! Also, Arun was particularly amazing when it came to my housekeeping, fresh sheets, coffee, water always topped up and had the room in tip top condition throughout my stay! 10/10 would recommend hotel Slavija for your stay in Budva/Montenegro!

“IBEROSTAR WAVES MONTENEGRO”

I went to this Hotel with the Travel Department from Dublin , the journey was longer than I expected from Dubrovnik airport as 2 border crossings to get through . We arrived at Block C on our coach. Only a few of group were staying in Block C, we had to walk to Block B and then up to second floor to reception to check in. It was then a few floors up and long walk to my room on 5th floor, some of the walk was though an outside corridor. It took us a few days to be able to locate the room . The main bar was Block C, mainly outside space which had a stage , it was dark by 8pm and the childrens entertainment was on for at least an hour from 8pm , not exactly ideal for adults. Usually went to room before 9 and when adult music came on it was quite loud in block B where our room was located even whwn patio doors closed. Restaurants were Block A and Block C, variety and sekection of food was good, only problem I had was getting gluten free bread. All the dishes were well labelled with allergens,i had to wait 5 or 15 mins for gluten free bread as it was not left out. Hotel spa in Block A was best thing about the hotel. Staff and services in the Santis spa were first class.

“Amazzzing!!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic, modern stay with incredible views in Budva! We had a wonderful stay at the Iberostar Waves Slavija. The hotel itself is incredibly sleek, clean, and modern throughout. Our room was very spacious, bright, and featured exceptionally comfortable bedding that made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. A special mention must go to one of our servers, Milan, who was an absolutely amazing host! His exceptional hospitality, warmth, and attentive service truly stood out and made our dining experiences unforgettable. The true highlight of the property is the 9th-floor rooftop. The infinity pool deck offers breathtaking, panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea and Budva Old Town—it's the perfect spot to capture photos and watch the sunset. We also thoroughly enjoyed the half board, with a breakfast buffet, which had a fantastic, fresh selection every morning and an amazing plate service at dinner time. The entire staff was warm and professional, but Milan's top-tier hospitality made a lasting impression. While the location is a slight walk from the historic Old Town (around 15 minutes), we actually preferred being slightly removed from the direct crowds. We would happily stay here again!

“Budva 2026”

Just had 4 lovely nights at this hotel after reading previous reviews we choose this hotel for are short break and we’re not let down we book sea view room and we’re on the 6th floor with lovely views out to sea yes there is a busy road in font but that’s did not distract one bit the room was massive spotless mini bar lovely bathroom and cleaned every day the hotel is fantastic pool and restaurant on top is amazing we only had 2 days up there due to weather but that’s ok food was lovely we were only BB but there was everything you need staffing makes this hotel they so friendly and helpful and would go out there way to please ok we not get good weather in budva while we were there but hotel made up for that we stayed October 8/12
