“Wonderful, relaxing stay with great hospitality”
Perfect boutique stay, with a luxurious feel to the whole visit. Staff are impressive, going out of their way to help with any query or wish we had including helping to book taxis and also making sure they had a particular menu item available for us when requested. The room was kept to a proper cleanliness standard, and the bed was a comfortable sleep. No issues with noise, as the location is slightly more up in the mountains which gives another advantage with a great view looking down into the valley. We opted to have meals in their restaurant for most of their stay, with the food being spectacular. The veal is mouthwatering, and the steak was perfectly cooked too. Also got to enjoy time in their spa facilities with the steam room, sauna and hot tub- again all kept well maintained. The pool area is lovely, with soft background music and plenty of sunbeds around. Overall, a fabulous stay which was good value, would highly recommend and I hope to come again!

“The BEST stay!! Cannot recommend enough.”
I honestly don’t know where to start — we had the most incredible stay at Hotel Ruzmarin from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the hotel manager and the wonderful staff, who were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They even took our cases to our room, which was absolutely perfect. We had a beautiful balcony, a huge and incredibly comfortable double bed, and everything was spotless. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking. The decor is beautiful, the facilities are fantastic, but what truly makes the experience is the staff. We have to give a very special thank you to Ivica, who was exceptional throughout our entire stay. He took such great care of us all week and nothing was ever too much trouble. He is genuinely one of the kindest people we met and an absolute credit to Hotel Ruzmarin. The food at the hotel is exceptional, the variety from breakfast to dinner is amazing and the taste, presentation and of course service was all flawless. It was also my birthday during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by surprising me with a huge birthday cake and making such a lovely fuss. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the day even more special. ❤️ The location is perfect — peaceful, calming and quiet, while still being only around a 10-minute taxi ride from the centre of Budva. We also walked into Budva centre a few times, which took around 30 minutes. Most of the walk is downhill and the views along the way are beautiful, so we actually really enjoyed it. Montenegro completely exceeded all of our expectations, and we honestly cannot wait to come back. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Ruzmarin for making our stay so memorable. It’s the little gestures and kindness that mean so much to us as visitors, and you made us feel incredibly welcome from beginning to end. Without a doubt, the BEST stay! “Family holiday”
We stayed at the hotel for 11 nights, bed and breakfast. Our children (3 and 7) absolutely loved the pool, and the room was big enough for the 4 of us to share. The food was great, in beautiful surroundings. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially after I had an accident at a nearby attraction. They went to buy crutches and pain relief for me, which was above and beyond. Taxis are hit and miss, try to use the ones recommended by the hotel, but you cannot pre book - most are contactable on WhatsApp.

“Beautiful Hotel”
We booked this hotel near Budva in Montenegro as we wanted a quiet week away from hustle and bustle.we booked 1/2 board and glad we did. A taxi into town was approximately 10 euros. However if you want to come back to the hotel late evening it was more like €40! Breakfast and dinner was fabulous and the waiters and staff are very friendly. We had a fabulous room on the 2nd floor with a very large private terrace. Some people opted to walk to Budva, we did not as the walk down was a little challenging. Strongly recommend a taxi back up. Be prepared for a long wait outside the airport for return journey, they cannot accommodate more than a few airplanes at a time. We had to wait outside for 1.5 hours before being allowed to check in! Also a lot of roadworks as they are trying to build dual carriageways along the coast. This causes bottlenecks through towns as there is nowhere to expand the roads. Wine is fairly expensive at the hotel average bottle approx. €38 similar bottle can be purchased in town @ €10. Remember to bring a bottle opener Pool was nice and clean with several sun loungers and umbrellas

“lovely stay in Montenegro”
We had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel. Situated in the hills on the outskirts of Budvar. It boasts magnificent views. The staff are very friendly, helpful and approachable. The cuisine is first rate, with excellent breakfast and dinner menus. The rooms are spacious with a large bed, and views from the balcony or terrace. Budvar is about a 7-10 euro taxi ride, depending on the traffic. The hotel uses a particular taxi firm ( OK Palma taxi). Get their number when you go out as the taxis from the rank will be more expensive. Go to Jaz beach and turn left when you get there to get to Gioia Beach. You will love it!
