Sharm El Sheiks water parks

If there's one thing that Egypt can do incredibly well (besides excellent weather, superb diving and enthralling history), it's water parks. And Sharm El Sheikh is certainly not lacking in them, that's for sure. In fact, it is home to some of the very best in the country.

Many of Sharm El Sheikh's hotels boast their very own on-site waterparks. But don't worry if your hotel doesn't have one, as most are open to non-guests too. Water parks may be built with kids in mind, but there's a reason why the slides are big enough to fit adults down them too. Because everybody loves a waterpark!

So be sure to make a splash on your Sharm El Sheikh holiday and visit at least one of the many adrenaline-pumping waterparks on offer to you. It's the perfect way to keep cool in the hot, Egyptian sun.

If only the best will do, head to the Aqua Blu resort in Um El Sid. It carries the status of being Sharm El Sheikh's biggest waterpark and boasts a whopping 17 slides for adults, 45 kids' slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and an impressive nine outdoor swimming pools. Wow.
