“family trip”

Excellent stay, very well done by the lobby food service staff, they made our stay wonderful, beautiful beach and excellent food

“Not very relaxing experience”

Lets start with what we loved here: the room! Ocean-view, spotlessly clean, recently renovated and shiny new, spacious, very convenient bathroom, well working A/C, comfy beds. It was a pleasure to stay here for five nights! The yard area of the hotel was also beautiful and so was the beach. The activities were also good, especially the ones like strecthing at the beach hut. But then the minus points: breakfast was super repetitive, almost no change at all in the products. Egg station was nice but all the other hot foods were lukewarm and did not feel very fresh. We did not have the all inclusive but tried Citarella restaurant for a few times and it was just awful, rude staff and uneatable food, no wonder we were both times alone in there. The cocktails in the bars were horrible, tasted like the cheapest incredients mixed together without any measuring. There was some evening program everyday but most of it was in French. We chose the hotel because of the nice looking pools but then we found out another one's sunbeds did not have any mattresses unlike in the pictures and another (the sport club pool) which had, they were very filthy. The music was almost unbearably loud at both pools and at sport club pool there were like 5 AI made songs repeating 24/7. There were wasps at the daytime so nothing could be eaten outside, and mosquitos at the night so needed the protection. The location could be nice at the beach but on the other side of the hotel is a holiday home for police and other is a military area so you can walk on their beaches only at your own risk. On street side there is a few poor restaurants and a long walk on the side of the noisy street if you want to reach any other area. This hotel is probably good only for a very short stay when you just want to rest and do not leave the hotel.

“Sol Tropical Amelia hotel”

We have just returned from the Sol Tropical in Albania. The hotel is lovely the rooms are large and well serviced. The swimming pools were beautiful and the hotel situated right on the beach. We were only there on a bed and breakfast deal. Here is the downside. There is no entertainment after the end of September. It is stuck in between two military bases which mean you either have to get a taxi to get to any bars and restaurants or walk which is a good 15 minutes walk either side of the hotel. It has the worst bar area I’ve ever been to as well. We won’t be going back .

“Wow”

I had a really enjoyable experience at Sol Tropikal Durrës. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the hotel has a great location for enjoying the beach and spending a pleasant holiday. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The food was also very good, with a nice variety of choices, and the overall service made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially liked the atmosphere around the pool and the entertainment, which added a lot of energy and fun to the holiday. Overall, a great place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. I would definitely recommend Sol Tropikal Durrës and would be happy to come back! 🌴☀️
