“Very poor”

To rate my stay at Martiness Hotel I would give it a poor rating. First of all, reception staff are not professional for a 4* hotel, lack of smile or any sort of kindness. Swimming pool was out of order because they are apparently upgrading to heated, the staff not even sorry about it being out of order. Where we booked a holiday with a swimming pool for a reason. Picking up mobile phone phone calls whilst checking us in. They have a section of the beach ( Don Pepe) with sun lounger and bar - nice and friendly staff there. Food Poor taste, poor quality , very DRY, almost like it's been cooked few days ago, soup was cold by the time we came down to eat. The food buffet is not staying heated so the later you come the colder food you'll eat. Same breakfast every day. Coffee machine is switched off at dinner.. only available at breakfast. Rooms We had a room that had half of the handle missing from inside the bathroom so it was a struggle to open the door when you exit the bathroom. The balcony door doesn't shut properly. Water was leaking whilst taking showers so slightly flooding the bathroom, also no shower screen. Phone not working in the room. After reporting the faults to staff, they simply said they are aware of it. Didn't offer a different room, knowing the hotel is super quiet. Bed size and room size was ok , mattress ok. No kettle in the room. Location 3 min walk to the beach , small shops and lots of ATMs and currency exchange shops. Lots of different restaurants near the beach so a lot to choose from. Overall absolutely not what you would expect from a 4* hotel.

“Exellent experience”

The experience at the hotel was wonderful. We were a group of 23 people attending a workshop; the staff were very supportive and cooperative, adapting easily to our requests—they were very flexible. The food served at the buffet offered a wide range of options, and everything was very clean. Thank you, Koda and Ari, for your support.

“Go and stay!”

Stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights with a group and had to stay on, waiting for the next group to arrive. I was very well looked after, laundry was done, coffees were perfect, even got a free buffet meal. Ariette was the best in helping me out printing all my papers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Martiness Hotel Durrës! The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Durrës. I would happily come back again!

“Bad Experience”

I booked with a group of friends an ALL INCLUSIVE package, and I honestly can't believe how bad the food is. Every meal looks and tastes OLD. It genuinely feels like food is being served again the next day, or even TWO DAYS later. The quality is TERRIBLE, there's barely any flavor, and after a couple of meals we completely lost our appetite. This is by far the WORST food I've ever had at an All Inclusive hotel. The service around the restaurant is just as disappointing. The staff often seem inexperienced and unprofessional. We saw employees handling the coffee machine and refilling the juice dispensers in ways that didn't inspire confidence in the hygiene standards or overall food handling, also many times they just leave them closed. The photos on social media look nice, but the reality couldn't be more different. If this is what you call ALL INCLUSIVE, then DON'T advertise it.
