What’s the weather like in Orlando in July?
Located in central Florida and famed for its many theme parks, Orlando has a subtropical climate thanks to its southerly position in the United States. The city is hot and humid all year round, and in July this heat and humidity increases as the wet season sets in. With regular rain showers and short storms, it’s a good idea to keep a waterproof jacket with you, as well as a high factor sun cream to protect yourself from the intense summer sun.
Averages
In July, the average daytime temperature in Orlando is a warm 28°C, with temperatures reaching highs of around 33°C in the afternoons. As July is in the rainy season, you can expect regular rain with 196mm spread over 23 wet days. Although most days experience showers or storms, they’re usually heavy and short-lived. With ten hours of sunshine, you’ll still have enough time to make the most of the day, especially as evenings are still a balmy 23°C.
