    Dalyan weather September

What's the weather like in Dalyan in September?

Dalyan is a town in Turkey’s Muğla Province, not far from Dalaman in the southwest of the country. It has a Mediterranean climate which brings long, hot summers and mild winters to the region, with temperatures starting to cool slightly in September after the peak months. This is still a very warm month in Dalyan though, as you can look forward to lots of long, sunny days if you visit at this time, perfect for relaxing by the beach or by the pool.

In September, the average temperature in Dalyan is 24ºC, rising to a high of 31ºC in the hottest part of the day. With this heat and 11 hours of sunshine each day, you’ll need plenty of high factor sun cream for your holiday at this time of year. With an average low of 16ºC after dark, you might also need a jumper or cardigan for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants, especially if you visit Dalyan towards the end of September. The town only expects around 10mm of rain this month, while the Mediterranean Sea’s a lovely 25ºC, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
