    Sa Coma weather December

What’s the weather like in Sa Coma in December?

Sa Coma weather in December is quite pleasant for winter, with mild temperatures thanks to the warm Mediterranean climate. Nights can get chilly though and it’s generally one of Sa Coma’s wetter months of the year. Showers usually don’t last too long but it’s a good idea to take an umbrella if you’re visiting in December.

    Geographical influences

The Mediterranean Sea around Majorca helps to keep the winter months, like December, warmer than on the Spanish mainland. Sa Coma is on the north east of this Balearic Island, which is often a little warmer and drier than the south because the inland mountains block the wind and clouds.

The weather in Sa Coma in December produces quite warm temperatures for the time of year, with an average of 16°C. You could see up to nine hours of sunshine as well, as the sun doesn’t set until about 5.30pm. The sunshine is mixed with frequent showers in December, but the average rainfall of 43mm shows the resort isn’t actually very wet. At 17°C the sea’s too cold for a swim, unless you wear layers, but on sunnier days the Sa Coma beaches are great places for quiet walks. The average wind speed is only 11mph so it won’t be too blustery when you’re out and about away from your hotel.
