What’s the weather like in Ibiza in August?
Located off the east coast of Spain and north of Africa in the Balearic Sea, Ibiza is at the height of summer in August. It’s the hottest month of the year so you’ll enjoy lots of sunshine and not much rain. Ibiza’s quite sheltered and the Sa Talaiassa mountain gives even more protection to the east and west, meaning you’ll probably find things are a bit warmer and drier in these areas.
The normal high in Ibiza is 30ºC in August, so it’s perfect for chilling out by the pool or at the beach during the day. You won’t need warm clothes if you’re out and about in the evenings as it stays nice and warm at night. The sea temperature’s 26ºC, which is ideal for a refreshing dip, while humidity’s moderate. There’s 27mm of rain over five days and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with ten hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be very high so bring lots of sun cream. Sunset’s nice and late at the start of August, falling just after 9pm.
