    Calgary weather June

What's the weather like in Calgary in June?

Calgary is a southern Canadian city surrounded by beautiful scenery, close to the Rocky Mountains. It has a climate which brings warm, damp summers and freezing cold winters to the region. It’s starting to feel like summer in June, and afternoons can be really pleasant this month. It can still get nippy in the evenings, though, and June is also one of the wettest months of the year. Whether you stick to the city or explore the local landscapes, you should pack for all weathers if you visit Calgary in June.

At this time of year, the average temperature in Calgary is 14ºC. With highs of 20ºC in the peak of the afternoon, lots of clear skies and 11 hours of sunshine each day, the weather can be lovely during the day. It still gets quite cold at night, though, and the city expects around 80mm of rain this month, so you’ll need a waterproof jacket and plenty of warm layers if you go on holiday to Calgary in June.
