The first thing you should do when you get to Marmaris is head down to the long beach which stretches all the way from the neighbouring town of Icmeler. The view of the sea is breathtaking, contrasting perfectly against the backdrop of pine-clad mountains. Relax on a sun lounger under a parasol and take in the picturesque scenery.

There's a great selection of restaurants and cafés nearby so spending the whole day at the beach is easy. The water is beautifully calm, which makes it ideal for water sports; you can try your hand at banana boating, jet skiing and so much more. Take a stroll along the sandy coast and visit the bustling town of Icmeler for a range of delicious beach-side food.
