“Good overall but don’t expect to get any sleep”

We are not fussy travellers (Travelodge makes us happy) but had a few reservations about this resort. Very very very noisy late into the night to the point that it was impossible to sleep until the early hours on most nights (and let’s be honest, who wants to be kept up listening to the Macarena?), room not serviced unless we specifically requested it, no toiletries in the bathrooms beyond wall-mounted generic soap and bathrooms a little dingy and unloved. On the positives there is a warm indoor pool (it has a little opening so you swim to a slim strip of pool outside which is very nice, the food in the restaurant is good (lots of choice and overall fairly good quality), the Mexican restaurant (fantastic) and the 24 hour patisserie (great coffee and beautiful pastries). The beachfront is also very pretty (a little bit more muddy than golden but the vista is really lovely). Would recommend if you don’t mind screeching kids and adults day and night, booming thumping music and ear-splitting karaoke into the early hours. Give it a miss if you want you and your kids to get more than 2 hours sleep.

“Floor surrounding pool very dangerous. Great entertainment team, cleanliness, repetitive food.”

The hotels entertainment team were great, they all interacted with adults and our children and formed lovely bonds especially Eda, who was caring, helpful and attentive ! Evening shows were fantastic. The pool was clean, however the floor around the pool area is very dangerous, very slippery, we unfortunately witnessed a couple of children fall and crack their heads open when they had only been walking carefully! So be aware of this. The restaurant and snack bar food was cooked fresh and hot, however very repetitive every day/ night! Ala carte - unfortunately we had two bad experiences, limited choice of meals to choose from menu and food was very bland and tasteless especially the Mexican :( could of been because it was towards the end of season?

“No electric / lights and limited restaurant access”

I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m currently staying at this hotel and haven’t had the experience. For the last twos days, the lights and electricity have gone in my room. I’ve complained twice and it was blamed on my key which wasn’t the case. We’ve also had issues with booking restaurants- we’ve been told that certain restaurants are full and then we walk by throughout the evening and there are loads. It’s disappointing and means the majority have to head down to the buffet restaurant which again isn’t great - the meat is very dry and they pull out the same dishes a day after day. Like I say, I hate to leave a review but it’s the first time I’ve experienced a livery report. Thankfully the sun has been out and the kids don’t know any different
