Renovated in 2017, Inter2 is a family-friendly hotel, a short stroll from the resort of Salou in the Costa Dorada region in the west of Spain. Salou beach, which is steps away from the hotel, lies on the Catalonian Coast which is popular with holidaymakers and locals alike. The hotel has an outdoor pool area with a main swimming pool and a separate kids' pool with a waterslide. If you're feeling energetic, you can choose from a number of activities including aerobics, aquaerobics, and darts. Inter2 also has its own games room where you can play pool and video games. On certain days and nights of the week, the hotel arranges live entertainment including music acts, quizzes and karaoke. There's a buffet restaurant and a total of three bars, including a sports bar and a poolside bar, where you can sit with a cocktail. Wi-Fi is available in all the public parts of the hotel. If you venture outside the hotel, you'll find soft, light-coloured sand leading to the Mediterranean Sea and a number of beach bars and restaurants to choose from. If you're a golf enthusiast, you can head to the nearest course, a short drive away from the hotel.
Salou beach is 400m away from Internacional II, while the centre of Salou is 800m away. Here, you'll find the swimming pools, water slides, bars, restaurants and other attractions of Salou's aqua park. Salou is also home to a go karting centre and has a total of three beaches. Further afield, you can take a day trip to the city of Barcelona where there's museums, galleries and cathedrals to explore. There's a range of restaurants, cafÈs, bars, and nightclubs available in the city, as well as a bustling seafront where you can have a meal or a drink at one of the waterside venues.
The hotel's buffet restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers both local and traditional British cuisine. On Sundays, a roast dinner is available. The hotel's bars serve local and international alcoholic and soft drinks, and one of the bars has a snack menu available during the day.
The hotel-run kids' club organises various games and activities such as face painting. There's also a playroom and a mini disco to keep children entertained.
All of the rooms at Internacional II have air conditioning and their own kitchenette. You'll also have your own balcony or terrace.

Avoid if you’re an anxious traveler.
This was my second visit to this hotel. I think it’s worth noting that if, like me, you need to feel secure and 100% assured and safe during your stay; this would not be the place for you. On the first night there was an incident two doors down from my room where i was staying with young members of my family. There was a dispute with a couple which ended in the mirror (i think) and furniture in their room getting smashed. They was screaming for a good hour before someone finally came up and knocked on their door to tell them to quieten down. It then continued for another 20 minutes or so but alls i could think about was how there was no bar or other secure fittings on the door and how easy it was to access others balconies. Therefore if you’re an anxious traveller avoid this hotel. The food was nice, the aircon was a little complicated to work. It was central to shops and the beach etc. i liked the all inclusive aspect it included all drinks even hot chocolate for the children. Loved the entertainment, it was simple but we watched it every night and joined in with the quiz. the kids really enjoyed. overall it wasn’t too bad.
Worst hotel ever
Waited 3years for a holiday after COVID hit so was looking forward to our holidays arrived at inter 2 lunchtime and was told our room would not available until 5 o'clock waited till 2/30 in the lobby as bag store was not secure they didn't tell us the hotel was residential our room was disappointing food was diabolical we ate out every day the worst hotel we have ever stayed in only cleaned twice told us to take our own rubbish our to bins outside hotel
It's fab for a base.
This hotel is not as bad as the reviews. We did stay in a studio, in the main hotel. Yes it needs a little Tlc. We stayed in room 615 that overlooked the front of the hotel. The only thing missing was a mirror in the lounge !!!!! Food was ok, we always found something to eat. The location was fabulous for us.It was a quieter part of salou, not sure how noisy it would be in the summer. It is on a hill so if you have mobility problems I would surgest a hotel in the centre of Salou. Beaches are beautiful.
