Hotel Best Cambrils is a family-friendly hotel in the resort town of Cambrils on the north east coast of Spain, in the Costa Dorada region. The hotel has a modern look, with whitewashed walls, bright interiors and surrounding palm trees creating a welcoming feel. The sandy beach is steps from the hotel. Here, you can relax with views over the Mediterranean Sea and mountainous coastline. There are two pools at the hotel, as well as a separate pool for kids to keep them entertained during the day. You can order drinks from the pool waiter. To recharge, you can spend some time in the adults-only sauna or Turkish bath, or book a massage. Children can join in the fun at the kids' clubs. The three clubs, including juniors' and teens' groups, organise activities such as games, boules and films. They can also make new friends in the games room, which has a computer console. You can enjoy a range of local and international food at the buffet restaurant, and there are two bars. The centre of Cambrils is a short drive from the hotel, and has a range of bars, shops and restaurants. The larger resort of Salou is within driving distance.
The beach is 60m from the hotel, and the resort's sandy coastline is 9km long. Cambrils' centre is 3km away and has a range of family attractions, including a number of parks. The promenade goes all the way to Salou, and has a cycle path as well as several landmarks. Salou is a popular resort, 4km away from Cambrils. It has a bustling nightlife, with a variety of bars and live music venues. You can browse the shops or choose from a wide range of restaurants. There's also a theme park 5,5km from Cambrils, with rides to suit all ages.
The hotel has two bars, including a pool bar, where you can get drinks throughout the day. The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with regular theme nights and show cooking. There are familiar options for children, and you can also book a table for a late breakfast.
You can join in the aqua aerobics classes in the pool, or work out in the gym. There's also boules, darts and table tennis.
All rooms have a TV and Wi-Fi access, and you'll also have a mini fridge. Each room has a balcony or terrace, and baby cots are available.

Best Cambrills provided an emergency night for our whole flight which had a technical problem. We were given a beautiful room, the buffet was delicious, and seemed really fresh even though it was really late.
HIT & MISS - BUT WOULD GO BACK
Would i go back to this hotel - yes the good overrun the bad. This is a honest review from a solo traveller. The pool and pool bar were excellant, staff brilliant and happy to help. Room was lovely size, bathroom as well - cleaned everyday. I was over the main entrance which was not a problem, very little noise. Bar staff in the main room excellant as were the reception staff. Now for the negative, like most - the restaurant. I did go early in the season but the food could be better. Im not a fussy eater, but do have allergies so need to know what is in the pot. So as there was very little signage, i couldnt chance the majority of it. However, I love salad so I was fed every meal quite happily. The staff however were miserable and run off their feet. I was ignored so many times that i started taking my own drink in and half way through the week kept cutlery and took it in each meal. The are only interested in serving the spanish. Entertainment - pardon did i miss this? as I was solo i stayed in the hotel in the evenings and only one night was their entertainment. Now i have to admit the magician was amazing. But 1 night is dire. The thing that proper miffed me was on a rainy afternoon, they shut the pool bar and opened the room bar so people could sit in. Adults just got on with it, but the poor kids, nothing not even some music to amuse them, now its not rocket science!!!! The location of the hotel is brilliant, a short walk to the beach and the bus stop is right outside to go into both Cambrills and Salou - it was only 3 euros 'ish to both. As a solo traveller, I would deffo go back, its location is brilliant to get about in the day easily. There are lots of trips to do, the one to Barcelona picks up outside and was £30 euro. Just a small comment - this hotel is full of spanish and they are so entitled its actually amusing, they barge into the lifts before letting people out, do not queue for the restaurant. However that isnt the hotels fault, but they do allow it and dont ask them to queue so maybe that does need to be looked into.
Overnight stay due to flight cancellation
Manager was appalling at this hotel, my dad fell seriously ill and needed a wheelchair they didn’t have one and he wouldn’t help find one with the jet2 rep. He said just shove him on a luggage trolley! Seriously this hotel was full of the older generation and they couldn’t assist for any disabilities! My dad is currently in intensive care Spain as we speak and this hotel manager was rude, disgraceful and Damn right ignorant! Please don’t book this hotel, we were only there as our flight was cancelled never again will I step foot in this hotel!
