“Wonderful find in Calpe!”

Currently staying at the Solimar Hotel and feeling sad to leave. Only stayed for a short trip five nights but it exceeded all expectations. Our junior suite room on the ninth floor was fantastic with great views and plenty of space. The outside balcony had a sea and beach view to die for! Staff attentive and welcoming. Opted for the B&B option and breakfast did not disappoint, with so much choice. Would I stay again absolutely!

“Disappointed”

Excellent room and staff in the hotel,however we found in the pool area there were crumbs of food on the floor around the sunbeds and alot of flies and it was there the day after,also one of the staff behind the pool bar was not very polite to me and just carried on talking to the other staff whilst serving me,this was disappointing as its a lovely hotel and these issues let it down

“One of the best holidays we have ever had.”

Totally superb hotel, in a fantastic location, excellent service throughout and spectacular views. We stayed at the Solymar for 1 week in a double seaview room and we were blown away at the views from our balcony with the beautiful sight of Ifach and the beaches. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, cleaned every day and we stayed on the 7th floor, so quite high up. Breakfast, as everyone else says is fantastic and there is so much choice, plus you get fantastic views from the restaurant windows. All staff in the departments we encountered were very friendly, pleasant and attentive. Reception staff were superb and helpful right from our arrival. We never used the beach bar area across from the hotel, as we always ventured up to the roof terrace each day, which was much quieter and again the views were breathtaking. Our only slight criticism would be the lack of drawer space in the room and the mini bar fridge was not cool enough, not a major problem, but worth mentioning. When it came time for us to leave, we were presented with 2 picnic boxes, as we had a very early start, but gave the boxes and most of their contents back, as there was too much in them for us. We had a fantastic stay and very memorable and we are already looking to return in 2027. Thanks to everyone for a great stay.
